The children learned about Guy Fawkes

They used charcoal to make sketches of Guy Fawkes

The children learned about the Stone Age and cave people.

They learned that cave people would draw on stones and use the stones for counting.

The children learned how to write instructions, and made Green Dragon Soup when learning about materials.

When learning about story settings the children made their own settings and wrote stories based on them.

In class the children discussed sories by the same author and then wrote 'blurbs' based on the Winnie the Witch stories.

They did Winnie the Witch illustrations in the style of Korky Paul.

When the children learned about the creation story they made pictures to represent each of the 7 days.
